I can't see how the arrow part is real. The rest is insane.

That's awesome! I have to say I would try it. I'm sure I would have second thoughts standing at the edge of the canyon but I'm pretty sure I could muster the courage to take the plunge. I can only imagine the rush of adrenaline you'd get from that. Sweet!!

He couldn't have been using a mechanical. No way he would have gotten enough penetration haha.

That would be a blast, but I wouldn't be the first to jump.

The arrow is not used as the anchor, not to worry. It is to save some time climbing the other canyon wall. If you notice, there is a lightweight cord tied to the arrow, and that cord is tied to the static line.

That is about 3x bigger than the biggest swing I've ever done, looks like a lot of fun to me!

I was an adrenaline junkie all through my teens and 20's: rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, bungee, BMX, freeride MTB, off road racing, rock crawling. I still have learning to surf on my bucket list. I pretty much gave it all up when my daughter was born. Nowadays night hunting pigs is about as extreme as it gets for me.

*Edit - that is a bit bigger than I guesstimated, in the "making of" video, they mention it being 400'. My biggest pivot swing was about 75-80', so it is about 5 times bigger! Wow, even more awesome!

That's awesome! If I ever get the chance to do something like that I wouldn't hesitate.

If that bow creaks that badly, I'd be more scared to draw it back than jump off that cliff. ;)
