I don't know what is going on here the last month or so. Cam pictures have went down significantly. I'm still getting does and some smaller bucks, but the nice ones I was getting have dissappeared. I'm thinking that now that the beans and corn are in full growth mode the patterns have changed. Also doesn't help that the main fields across from my parents woods is all winter wheat. At least I know that they are out there. I am really hoping to get more pics of them so I can contribute a little bit to all the great cam pictures on here.

I moved my camera yesterday to a new spot that is on a trail leading into a bedding area. Maybe I'll catch um coming in and out. We will see in a week.

Keep up the good work guys, the deer are looking great!!!

I know Pat, it is not a great feeling at all. I'm keeping my chin up though. They will be back!!!!

On the other hand, your deer are coming along very nice. I can't wait to see some harvest photos! Good luck this year!

Don't worry. It's nature's way of making us appreciate when the deer are plentiful. Things will get better.

I am actually pretty surprised. I lost 8 bucks last year that I had on camera to neighbors and such. The ground I hunt is really good and I hoped a couple would make it. I may be a bit spoiled after having quite a few good bucks on camera going into the season last year. About the 2nd week of August the story will unfold I can't wait.

Don't worry Eric you will get them figured out :) Thanks and Good Luck to you also :tu:

yea def time to put the cams on natrual food sources (corn, beans) mainly beans and start glassing from a distance where they are coming out of and pattern the movements big time in August. The week or two before season it always seems like the disappear, but they are there.... just need to know when to transition from beans to acorns!
