    Velvet is off pretty much all the bucks I have seen recently, and I think the deer are spending most of the day in the corn

    Live in Winneconne. Hunt our 80 in Tigerton, Shawano County. Dont have a huge shooters on camera yet. Got alot of mature does and nice two year olds. They are lighting up the cameras and demolishing our food plots. I have to work overtime saturday morning but I will be headed to the cabin when I get out at noon.

    Agree, beans are turning brown fast. Deer are switching over to corn and acorns, moving into their fall range. Exciting times, been seeing some good bucks glassing, just need to get this party started!

    Saw nothing that first day out. I'll be getting back out there this weekend for sure. I'll probably do both a morning and evening sit if the weather agrees. We're supposed to get some rain Saturday evening so I'll be keeping an eye on that.

    Congrats, Nissen!!! Shock, do you have any targets for this season or just will settle for choosing what comes across? Since I hunt mostly public land, the only choice I really have is to take what I can get. I'm fine with it, since all I'm looking for is meat. Good luck!
