How many will be hunting my great state and where abouts? Myself will be hunting Columbia (Portage), Kenosha, Langlade(Elton), Richland (Hub City), and Walworth(Pell Lake) counties.
I'll be hunting the family 460 acres a little this fall. It's just north of Jump River and sits in both Rusk and Taylor Counties.

Not this year. I've got the new property in JoDaviess county and frankly I'm tired of the farmer next door at my old place near the Dells. The only farmer I know of that likes deer!
There's a chance I'll be heading over to the Spooner area in Wisconsin on public land. Its still up in the air yet so we'll see.
New Munster wildlife area up near Twin lakes. Take highway 50 west to Highway KD turn left. Take KD about 2 1/2 miles south and you will see the parking area on the left. If you hit highway F you went to far by 1/2 mile. Here is a Map for you. As I stated for the private near me their already are 3 guys hunting and I have already committed to one other. This map the black line is pretty much all public hunting and more to the North.
I believe Dan we hunt about 45 minutes east and south of Spooner. Its been about 5 years since I've been there so I might be a little off. We use to go allot more back when I was still in school yet some 15 years back.
I'm trying to get access to a nice chunck near grantsburg actually on the MN/WI boarder on MN 70. I only live about 30 min from Grantsburg.
I've hunted there as well, very nice area. A friend of mine shot a nice 138" 8 point about 8 years ago there in a snow storm bow hunting.
I'll be hunting in North and South Kettle Moraine State forests! I hoping to get further north this season and hunt some state land up there, we'll see! Tony we need to hook up this season and hunt somewhere around SE Wisconsin, I have some great spots in the North Kettles we could hunt!
