Wisconsin Wolf Population.

    I do not disagree with you Dan, our dwindling deer population is due to may factors. Overharvest, bears coyotes harder winters. It is the combination that has hurt but the DNR stating that there are not many wolves is wrong. the wolve sare also part of the issue.

    There is plenty of blame to go around we need to manage the wolf population as well.

    Sorry about that Dan, not what I meant. I meant that the deer populations are declining here and wolves become the scapegoat. I didn't mean for it to sound like it was a knock on anyone's hunting abilities....but it came across like that.

    I agree Dean. Honestly, like I said earlier, I'm not a fan of wolves where they haven't been for the last century. If it were up to me, I'd whack em all here in WI and eliminate them again.
