Wisconsin turkey tags are online

Hey all Wisconsin turkey hunters, the drawing has been held and results are online! My son and I both drew Zone 2 Second week...yeah buddy!

 

You have a "DRAW" on turkey tags? Now that sucks.

 

Hey thanks for the post, my girlfriend got first season trying to get her first gobbler and then I have second season trying to get my first gobbler with a bow. We are in zone 4, hoping to get both on film this year. Should be a good time

 

Not really.....Its a great system that works for every one involved! Do your research!

 

Crappy. This is the first year I did not draw a tag. Hopefully there are some leftovers for the last weekend otherwise I either won't have a turkey season this year or will have to hunt up on our land where there hardly are any turkeys.


My son is going to be pretty disappointed.

 

You didn't get one? What zone did you apply for? Ive never heard of it lol
I got 2nd week, Zone 3

 

Zone 2. Nope. No tag for me. But there are leftovers in the last two weeks so hopefully I can get those.

Maybe you should come down to NC/GA to Turkey hunt.....

 

Brad as you know, they will sell out fast when they go on sale, like in minutes for Zone 2. Good luck!

 

Oh I know joe. I'll be on there right at 10am. I'm guessing I get one being Johnny on the spot but you never know.

If you don't get one for Zone 2, get one for Zone 3. I got places to hunt!

 

Go to Gander earlier, they hand out numbers! Also, Zone 1 has lots of Public land south of madison. Its about 1.5 hours away, not a bad drive and beautiful country!

 

I did not draw either. When do the leftovers go on sale? I did not see it on the website.

If you did happen to draw a tag the 2013 License year starts March 6. Just an FYI

 

I have some issues with the WI turkey season, however, that doesn't mean I don't greatly enjoy it. We (2 bothers and I) managed to swing season 1-3 and then hope to get 4/5/6 on the drawing date in March. At least, 3 weeks of Turkeys!
