We'll Opening morning I filmed Josh and we got rained out. In the afternoon Josh filmed me and we successfully tagged a doe and I fulfilled my earn-a-buck sticker. Now it’s game on! Here are some quick photos; I will update my blog tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting you when I come to IL in Nov.

Footage will be up soon. There is some bonus footage as I unfortunately made a bad shot a doe prior to harvesting this one. She ducked my arrow and I ended up nicking her. Thank god for video as we replayed is a dozen times to see what happened.

    JZ,

Sorry for not calling back, I was late as always and it is my Dads birthday so I was running around like a dork as soon I got home. Plus Craig wanted Daddy - I sure you can imagine the rest. But I did get a text that Bryce got a doe as well.

That's a great thing about videos. Videos not only told us when and how to track some deer but also showed us exactly where they went once we were on the ground.

    Awesome! She looks tasty! :D

I could shoot 20 does with my bow each year and never get tired of it... just a great feeling letting that string slip forward and seeing that arrow slice through.

Congrats on the Doe Tod, looks like she has been eating good. I just talked to RuttNutt and he spent most of this evening in Wisconsin having a territorial war with a Bear. No deer!

Congrats Todd, you earned a buck tag, now get out there and tag him! Can't wait to see the footage and story to go along with it.

Way to keep Justin working instead of picking his nose and dreaming of October in front of his computer.
