Wisconsin Shed Hunting

Looks like next week is supposed to warm up a little in Southern Wisconsin. I'm gonna try to get out for a quick walk next weekend! Good luck, everyone!

 

Hopefully this snow doesnt last long thursday and friday, ill be out all next week... southwest wisconsin grant county!

I checked my trail camera yesterday and had 400 pictures of antlerless deer. The camera was about 20 yards off a trail, so I couldn't really tell which deer were does or bucks that have shed. I wish this damn snow would melt!!

 

Snow starting to melt in Southern WI yet? Still have quite a bit here in Central WI..

Found this set Thursday afternoon in South Central WI! Pretty good 2 yr old that we had pics of during the season. The picture of the sheds on the ground is "as they lay." Never found a set of sheds that was laying on top of one another!

AWESOME FIND! anyone in the stevens point area want to go shed hunting tomarw? its supposed to be nice and sunny, i went today for 2 hours and scouted out the area and trails no luck tho, the wind was brutal today. really excited to get out and find some sheds..looking to get into bow hunting if anyone would care to take me "under their wing"!

 

I'm in the Stevens Point area!! I can't go today, but I would like to meet up some other time and go!

ANYBODY! anyone want to go shed hunting tomorrow! Its going to be B-E-A UTIFUL OUTSIDE! going to scout out a couple public land spots out on hwy 10. I would almost guarantee to find some sheds and an eye to a some bucks in the area for upcoming bow season. maybe set a cam/feeding area up and get some good insight on these bucks. WISCONSIN WHITETAIL! WE HONESTLY HAVE SOME HUGE BEAUTIFUL BUCKS AROUND HERE.

I still have 6 inches of snow at my cabin it will be another week until I can hunt that. I might try the Kettle Moraine one more time this weekend.

I'm heading down to our Prairie du Chien farm tomorrow to walk all day! Can't wait! Hopefully I'll have more pics to share!

 

I wish all we had was 6 inches. We are a week away yet.

 

Found this one today. It was in one of the few areas that you could actually see the grass. Most of the land I hunt is still got a good snow cover.
