Hey Wisconsin hunters just seeing what you guys are thinking as far as the Rut fairing so far this year?!? Do you think we are deep in pre-rut right now with full rut right around the corner or because of the warmer temps we've been having it's delayed the process somewhat?? Just want to get some thoughts on what you guys are thinking.

Last weekend I seen few of the smaller bucks chasing the does around. As for warmer temps im not sure what you mean? It has been pretty chilly at night and even into the late morning. Then for the evening hunts it seems to cool down pretty quick at least in my part of South Eastern, Wi. I still have next Thurs-Sat as my killer moon phase to get one. Last year this phase was thurs-sat right before Halloween. Good Luck!

I am hoping that Rut hits next week. I am headed up north monday night (after Halloween) and staying through the weekend. This is the first time I have done this. Ususally I just go up about 3 weekends and try to time it. This way I should get in much more quality hunting.
