Wisconsin Rut Report

Wind, wind, and more wind...in central Wisconsin...hunted Thursday thru Saturday and all I saw was just that, the wind...

 

A lot more activity this past weekend. I took a doe on Friday and had a couple of really nice bucks moving. Looks like he rut is going to carry nicely into gun season.

 

So cold and Windy Sunday Morning.

I am hunting in Dodge County and the farmers still haven't taken down the corn yet. Most of the deer are running around in the corn and woods, so it is hard to see them, track them, and get a shot.

 

Well they changed the weather at the cabin to 1 to 4 inches ! Looks like I'll be leaving wednesday to go hunting for five days !!!!!!

was hunting in waukesha all week and hunted palmyra a bit this weekend. Didn't see a thing again.

 

Where in Waukesha and Palmyra? Have you tried any of the Public land out there? I assume it is extremely crowded.

 

Palmyra I have hunted public. But yeah semi crowded. Extremely during gun but bow isn't to bad usually.

 

Jefferson co Had small buck chasing doe this afternoon.
