I'm absolutely pumped. I havn't been out in the woods in five weeks due to getting a house and doing a remodel... leaving in the morning for the cabin in Shawano County, Tigerton to be exact for five days of pure bowhunting !!! My brother has been out the last couple weekends and seen ALOT of deer. Seeing roughly 10 to 14 a sit in our brassica plots. Several nice bucks which were to far to identify and scrapes popping up everywhere. He said one of the plots looks like it had four or five scrapes in it. I seriously dont think I will get a minute of sleep tonight !

Same here! This county is pretty tough hunting in my little opinion.

The rut is going strong in Iowa county. Yesterday I saw a 10, 3 -8's, 2 -6's and a 4 pointer. I have been seeing buck's chasing on almost every sit the last five days. I tag a nice buck on Monday afternoon.

Nice buck! Congrats. Man that thing is wide. I'm in Grant and it still doesn't seem like rut has kicked in.

Alright well my update is that in Shawano/Tigerton area atleast on our property things are sloooow !!!!!!!!! Hunted from wednesday afternoon until this morning and all I saw was a few small doe's. A couple of young bucks that were chaseing a doe on one of my foodplots. One shooter that wasn't until friday night an hour before dark. He cruised the edge of the food plot fifty yards from me and I grunted at him and he wanted nothing to do with it at all. He reacted like he wanted to check it out but with the wind blowing and all the noise from the corn field next to my plot he wasn't gonna risk it and went into the corn. My heart sank because he is a ten point that we have had on camera for a couple years now and he has palmated main beams. Not a huge scoreing rack but definitely 4 or 5 year old deer. Now I was going to go back up there wednesday again but Tigerton is supose to get 8 to 12 inches of snow on monday !!! I won't even be able to get into my cabin. #HEARTBROKEN
