    Apples and oranges. This thread is about 2 things

    1. state owned lands (not Federal)

    2. A poorly written, toured and tedious lamenting by Pat Durkin because he is rabid anti Walker guy that lost credibility years ago.

    Walker got this one right. Much of it is being sold to Counties to manage rather than the state, there is the land locked parcels where the public hasn't had access already so the state no longer owning it makes no difference. government shouldn't own land just to own it, it should be done for specific purposes example state parks.

    If you want access to the land that is up for public sale, BUY IT.

    When I see, bad info or nonsense inserted into the discussion, I like to point out that its useless so others don't get confused. Your link had nothing to do with this sale of about 1% of state land.
