Hmmmmmm. I've never stayed in a hotel there and always have drove. I'll find out for you though. Remind me if I don't get back to you by Monday afternoon. Which hotel are you staying at? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The first thing you should have done on this trip is, invited me. I haven't been to lambeau since probably 1997ish and am really ready to go back. That wasnt even for a game just being a sappy tourist.
Like a said...its a me and the girlfriend only trip. I had to pull teeth to even meet up with Brad and Dan. Shes had it planned for like 8 months now.
I was in the Green Bay area a little over a week ago for 4 days. I'm convinced there are only 4 things to do. Drink, watch people drinking sing karaoke, deer hunt, and watch Packers games. I was going to take a tour of Lambeau if I had time, but didn't get it worked into the schedule. Heard a lot of people saying to go eat at Favre's steakhouse also.
Eat a meal at Brett Favre's Steakhouse. Great food! Close to Lambeau too. Brett Favre's Steakhouse | Restaurant & Banquets Green Bay
My advice is drink heavily and DON'T DRIVE. Start early with Bloody Mary's and progress from there. If you don't remember the game, don't worry. The local news starts at 4:30 AM Monday morning and they will have the highlights.
Green Bay itself is very blue collar and is not flashy at all. It is built around industry and the middle class. Other than the commercial area around the stadium there isn't much going on. There is the Oneida casino if you like gambling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The tailgating is the thing to do. make sure you stop and talk to people out there grilling and when they hear your a fan from out of state, they probably feed you. Its a friendly crowd up there. Find one of them neoprene beer coolers that hang over your shoulder and you'll probably get a few from the crowd. The tailgating has always been my fav part.
