    ish...some counties is shotgun only....

    I will say this; with today's shotguns, they are so close to rifles that it really doesn't matter, as are the Muzzleloaders....if a county wants to do a shotgun only, they should do smooth bore, non-scoped ones to reduce distance ....like the old days :D (I hope they don't!)

    I dont see the confusion here.... crossBOW. Doesnt that make it a bow? Just like a hand gun is a gun. Im really surprised this thread stayed civil good job guys!

    soccer90, Answer: NO. Is a seahorse a horse? A crossbow is a separate weapon. It is preloaded, cocked and set at full draw and shot off a rest. A bow (archery) must be drawn at the time the animal is present, held steady without a rest, released with some skill for accuracy all without letting the animal detect the hunter.
