    Hello guys,
My name is Filip and I am currently living in Canada. This year I want to do Wisconsin early season hunt.
I have couple of questions. I am doing my homework on Onx and I also want to arrive couple days before opener to scout, but I am not sure which area is best for me to try. From your experience, does a lot of hunters hunt the Michigan or Minnesota borders (because the earlier season) and is there any particulary good area in the north to focus on?
Also, is it better to buy a tag before or after entering States? Because I heard that a lot of people have trouble to get in sometimes. I have of course everything in order, but if I would buy a tag and then don’t get in, it would suck. On the other hand to have a tag is clear evidence why I’m going to the States. Any advices.?
    Thank you
    Filip

In all honesty, I can't imagine leaving Canada to hunt deer in the states, unless you also have business and or family commitments in Wisconson. You have some of the best whitetail hunting in the world right there in Canada. I've hunted the Edmonton Bow Zone (Stony Plain) five times. It holds some HUGE whitetails, and there's basically zero hunting pressure. It's a bow hunters paradise! Think about hunting there. That's my advice.

This buck was taken by a member of our group on one of my hunts.
