    Do they still have to go in there with such a show of force? I don't care what the name of the animal or even what kind of animal it was. They crossed the line with the way they did it. Intimidation and strong arming people is the reason we have a constitution. Was this deer hurting anybody? No Was the law being broken? Yes. I'm saying they could have handled the situation much better.

    Yeah it would be. And likely most would see the reasoning to do so. But it seems this wasn't the case

    I agree with you totally brotha!
    I do have to say the 1 and only time I was there the place was filthy and nasty.

    The government overreacted. They were just trying to prove their power.

    I think some of you are getting carried away. Going in with too many officers isn't a crime, and obviously they had their reasons.
    Also, the details of the incident are coming from the shelter workers, who knows how much is exaggerated? Maybe when the first officer came out, they weren't cooperating? Maybe they denied even having the fawn, who knows?
    Could they have handled it differently, maybe. But I'm giving the Popo, the benefit of the doubt on this one.
