I am in need of a new bowhunting partner. I need someone who is reliable and can really teach me new things. I need advice on how to track deer, where to go, shooting advice, and much more. Please contact me if there is anything you can do to help me out before the season start. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Tyler
How much land to do have? I am willing to exchange 36 years of bowhunting knowledge to help you out and help you figure out how to hunt your land. Let me know and this seems like it would be an equitable exchange of experience for helping you figure out how to bowhunt your lands.
Should get Peakrut to help you out! Sure he will teach you how to text and make phone call from the tree stand! LOL Know that is where he will be whenever I talk to him during the season!
I live in Jefferson, WI and have 25 years experience as an avid sportsman. Let me know what you are looking for specifically through an e-mail here and we can talk. I'll send you my info and we can get together and start with some basic shooting techniques and go from there.
I sent this fella a pm asking about how many acres of land he has available to hunt in exchange for myself or others teaching him how to bowhunt and how to hunt his lands but I have not yet heard back from him. At first I thought that perhaps he has no land and was simply looking to mooch access to somebody else’s land under the guise of wanting to be mentored into bowhunting (essentially saying “hey let me hunt your land and teach me how to bowhunt and I will repay you by being grateful.") but then I thought, nobody would be that shifty and underhanded and shameless. As I stated, I am willing to provide 36 years of bowhunting knowledge and willing to assist this guy in learning how to hunt his lands in exchange for the ability to bowhunt his lands. I think that is an equitable exchange. Hopefully he comes back and lets us know more.
He's just a kid, 18. I doubt he has a lot of land. Maybe, just maybe, he wants to learn to hunt and has no one to teach him. Maybe, just maybe, he's hoping there's someone out there that's kind enough to lend him a hand without trying to gain something for themselves. Good luck in your search Tyler.
You're right. I only have two acres. All I am asking is how to track deer better so I can place my stands better for an improved shot. I want to learn this so I can improve my skills. I am not asking to be insulted over an internet site.

My Hero ^^^ Hope you find someone to help you out Tyler! I'm a long ways from you up here. If you have a bow club around you join up and hang out there. There should be some guys or gals around that would help a new person out. Don't give up! Ruff
I can only go by what was posted. He said “I am in need of a new bowhunting partner” Logic insists he wants to hunt with that person as that’s what hunting partners do. If he has no land as you suggest, it takes no imagination he was seeking a place to hunt while he is being mentored. I arrived at that conclusion when I read further where he said “ I need someone who is reliable and can really teach me new things. I need advice on how to track deer, where to go, shooting advice, and much more.” This too told me he is perhaps looking for hunting access (not just mentoring) As such, I hoped to establish his current land holdings. I learned he has 2 acres so my suspicions were accurate.
