I just got my first ones this year, A Spypoint Link S and a Stealthcam GXW. I like them fine so far, although the Stealthcam is hard on batteries. I'm still in the learning curve as far as optimum settings and uploading, but all in all I wish I had started using these years ago. It's sure exciting to get notification while you're sitting at home, that something has walked by your camera. Is there anything in particular that you are wondering?

When you say the stealthcam is hard on batteries, how hard exactly? Thanks.

Well I'm getting about three months out of a set of lithiums. I had it set to upload and transmit pics instantly and I read somewhere that is hard on battery life. I have since changed it to transmit only twice a day, so we will see if that helps.

I have used the Covert Blackhawk for two years now and like it. I set my camera at 8mp pictures so battery last longer but the pictures are more grainy. My cam last around three months where I have it located.

My only suggestion is buying a camera that was released within last two years, the older ones aren't compatible with a lot of the phone apps.

Do you have to have these things added to a cell phone plan?
Most dont have wifi in the middle of their hunting land.
If adding to a cell plan what type of cost is involved with that?

We've been using the Bushnell Aggressor for the past two seasons with no issues. The camera feels like it's made with quality parts and the pics are good. We have poor cell phone reception where it's located but the camera has never had a problem sending pics. I think it runs off of AT&T's network which we were a little worried about because Verizon seems to work a little better there but like I said, no problems. I bought it as a gift for my hunting buddy and he has the cell plan but we're able to add my phone to the plan at no additional cost so I'm also able to receive text notifications of the pics and able to log into the app to see them. I think the plan is about $10/month. I can't remember how many uploads that covers but we've never come close to the max so it's quite a bit. In the off season you can put it on a vacation plan which is only a few $$ a month.

It's very addicting and fun to get pics right away. One big plus also is you'll know quickly if the spot you've put it in is worth keeping it there. So if it's a good spot and you want to leave it then you're leaving the area undisturbed. If you aren't getting the pics you want then you know before you even walk into the woods and you have a game plan of where your next move will be.
