I have a Canon Gl2 and i would like to have my shotgun mic and a wireless mic at the same time. Is there an adapter that i need to get to be able to do that?

I have a Canon DM50 that would work for your microphone, if you need one.

I sank my GL2, so it's for sale! lol

What you need is called an XLR adapter. It plugs into the 3.5 mm mic jack on your camera, and then allows you to plug two mics with XLR plugs into it. The adapter itself will screw onto the bottom of your GL2 and then your tripod/fluid head plate will screw onto the adapter.

Check out this one here. It seems to be the most popular version that people in the outdoor industry are using.

The Beachtek adapter has a single 3.5mm input for your existing mic to plug into. However, your 2nd set of mics will have to be XLR input or you won't be able to run both at the same time.
