For anyone interested in a fun listen I was on the Wired to Hunt podcast this week with Mark Kenyon and Dan Johnson. I know a lot of guys only tune in when there's an awesome guest on, so here's your chance. Definitely didn't cover anything ground breaking but we had a good time. Looking forward to doing it again. http://wiredtohunt.com/2017/09/28/w...ics-suburban-bucks-and-more-with-justin-zarr/
Been listening to WTH for years now, very enjoyable show to tune into when you're driving to the deer camp
I enjoyed your appearance on the full episode back in May. I know Dan Johnson's third child was born a few days ago. Have you had your third yet? My wife and I welcomed our third son on the 18th.
You referred to knowing stone cold killers who don't get rattled, who on the staff is a stone cold killer?
Graf (whitetails only) Tyler Rector Franki Clark Dean Kreuger Those are the first couple that jump out at me.
My 3rd was born almost a year ago now. So things have somewhat mellowed out at this point and I hopefully will be able to hunt a bit more this year.
Definitely agree with this list for stone cold killers. It's amazing how they can keep it together no matter the conditions. Definitely props to these hunters!
All I have to say is if you shoot that big old buck on the lease can you make sure it doesn't drop down to the bottom. He would be a bastartd to drag up that hill
He was the only deer on camera scared of the ground blind so I doubt that will happen. Better chance of Big E shooting him than me.
The problem is finding where he's bedding. People talk like it's an easy thing - just walk into the woods and BAM, there's a buck bed in a spot that's easy to access quiet and has the right wind. It's not quite that simple. But hey, if I find something that looks promising I'll give it a whirl.
not to be a kiss ass, but i have to say, it was sobering to hear another almost average Joe. Works all week, a couple random hunts sprinkled in during the week throughout the fall, and raising a family and spending time with them. it was good to hear
