I have zero experience with winter wheat. If just planted now, will it be any benefit to me hunting over it this winter? The farmer just harvested the soybeans and had now replanted with winter wheat.

A local dairy farmer rotates corn with rye and winter wheat. The deer will hammer it come late season once all the preferred food sources are done.

Copperhead right on the money. Radish/turnip/clover/winter wheat mix. Planted 1st week in August they will be in it till after snowfall. Digging up the winter wheat through the snow.
