So, who got slammed by the recent storms.

Here in my area, we got about 7in of snow. So far no damage it's just cold. I know that's not alot compared to other places but it's a little unusual for KY. We haven't had this much snow in a winter for a long time. There was the ice storm a few years ago, but it was mostly ice. Not a lot of snow. The last time we had snow like this was in 1996 as I recall.

    Keep warm guys.

No storms here lately but we've got about 3 to 4 feet of snow on the ground here. The drifts are double that depth. Been a long and cold winter this year. Spring CANNOT get here soon enough. The last 4 nights temps have dropped to -15 to -20 below. So sick of It! I heard on the news today that states like Arkansas and other southern states are seeing record snow falls this winter.

Have you had this much snow during another season, aside form winter ?

We got hit with 2 really nice storms, in the NorthEast. I wouldn't say record snow fall, at all, but, it was enough to slow things down a bit. I actually like snow, and, a lot of it. If we're going to get an inch, might as well be a foot, as far as I'm concerned.

With that said, I am ready for Spring.

-14 here this morning. At least it is going to be above freezing for the high. I'm cringing thinking about my heating bill this month.

We were supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow yesterday. Everything shut down. They closed the schools. All local government offices shut down. Local business closed. We were all bracing for the snowpocalypse...

...and then it just rained. It didn't even get below freezing until last night.

We got 24" of snow on Wednesday in NW Arkansas. That's three times more snow than we average a year. This morning it was -20. (:()
