I admit it, I'm "just a bowhunter" and don't shoot throughout the year. After the season ends, my bow will sit until about the end of August, when I stop chasing wild trout.

71 degrees here today, I'm gonna put a few rounds down range after I get my honey do list halfway completed.

Living in Arkansas, I don't stop practicing in the "winter." Our season runs until the end of the February. I keep shooting through the Spring and take a break in the summer. Something about 110 heat indexes that makes me nit want to shoot. I will in the garage a little to escape the heat and keep the form.

I shoot whenever I get an urge to in the offseason. I take my bow with me when I move or hang stands in the offseason to practice from an elevated position. To keep in shape, I workout on my Total Gym.

Hunting ends the 3D leagues begin. Have done one league but going to try two different one at a bow shop then a different bow club since my club has no indoor. Son shoots the mid west archery championship and I tag along and shoot with him

Interesting cross section of answers. No right or wrong in it. Guys that love to hunt and use a bow to do it. Guys that love archery and hunt to do it. No wrong or right in it. I have plenty of room in the basement but it's finished into my photography studio and a family room. I shoot 3 yds in the back part of the basement to work on form. Almost every day. Weekends are for chasing steelhead with a fly or skiing.
