I can honestly say I'm glad we do not get that much snow. I was tired of it by day 3.

We decided to call off work today, would rather be stuck at home than stuck at work. We got a good coating of ice yesterday. Really didn't stick on the roads but trees and decks are coated. Then it started sleeting about 5 this morning. Got prolly 3/4 inch on the ground. Just changing over to snow now. They are talking about 10-20 inches by the time its over tomorrow morning. Then 50 mph winds will start to blow it around and below 0 temps will make it even more fun.

I can't wait. It's gonna be fun the next couple of days. :lmao:But I do have plenty of bread and milk! :D

It's a freaking hurricane (snowurricane?) out there. No ice thankfully...

The squirrels are out tho'. I wonder how much drift a .22 bullet has in 35 mph wind at 50 yards?

Well we only got about 5 inches last night.... maybe only 4. At first i said I wasn't even going to bother with it. Just drive on it and be gone. After I came home from tending to the fish tanks I decided I'd move it as we're suppose to get a foot or more tomorrow. You got to keep it cleared so you have places to put the next blast. Spring is coming folks.... don't worry about it and enjoy the beauty of it all.

OPS.... 8-10 inches tonight and another foot tomorrow. Ok, so it's a heavy dusting of maybe 18 inches. NYbowhunter may get more. LOL Hey NY... I have a buddy that lives on a nice private golf course in SC. Maybe we should go visit him. LOL

    Jeff,

Here in Wisconsin we typically put our Christmas lights up at Thanksgiving and take them down in March. You would be stupid not to. ;)

How many inches per hour are you seeing Justin? We are getting around 1-2 per hour here. It's really blowing. Can hardly see across the street.

I just shoveled my driveway for the 4th time. Took me about 20 minutes to do it and by the time I was done there was an inch of snow already where I started. So I'm guessing 2-3 inches per hour. It's pretty nasty out right now.

Yeah it is. It's hard to get a accurate gauge due to how much blowing and drifting there is. The wind is just hollowing. Stay safe guys.

What a joke! They closed all the schools today and LOTS of businesses in ANTICIPATION of the "deadly" blizzard today ... we got a DUSTING!

    Man I despise weathermen...

Hey guys, I live in SW Milwaukee county, I would take some pics of the snow, but I can't get out of my back door or the front door, drifted shut. The plow just came thru and left a pile about 4' high at the end of the driveway. I have a 5' high retaining wall in the back yard that I can not see this morning. I have a picture window in the front of the house that is 5' above ground level, the snow is up to the bottom of the window right now.
I can not even get the Jeep out of the garage because the son told me the drift is about 6' high, he can barely see over the top of it, and he's 6'1".

I can see what my day is going to be like ! :(
