Here is what we will be dealing with in the next three days. Should be a blast. The thing about it is we don't get to take off work because of the snow unlike in the south you get 3-inches and the whole state shuts down. :lmao:

Anyone else about to get pounded by mother nature?

Hasnt' been too bad the last week or so around here. I think we are still on pace for record snowfall totals for the season though. We took a beating before this past lull in the action. I'll go out on a limb and say we are still in for some good amount of snow.

Yeah you guys definitely got blasted this year so far. We have had a fair amount of separate small snow falls that have added up. There is 6-8" on the ground here right now. Going to be hard on the deer and turkeys after Wednesday.

GFY, we really haven't had it too bad this season, but from the looks of it, we are going to catch up in the next couple of days.... they are calling for up to 24" of snow by Wednesday evening with a blizzard watch in effect ! :( I'm on the SW side of Milwaukee

Just got updated to a blizzard watch. Talking in the 24"+ range for Racine Kenosha counties. I'm looking at 18" here yet with strong winds. Should be fun. :violin:

NOPE.... been a quiet winter really. We've only had a bit over 100 inches so far and like NYBowhunter said.... NOTHING in the past week or so and the -20 degree temps have left. Suppose to be minus a couple here tonight. We got maybe 3 inches today. It's just pretty and makes the snot run out of your nose. LOL Anytime we stay below 200 inches is good. We've had some melts and surprisinly, no power outages yet. This year has been odd. All the lake effect we usually get went South of us. Places south of us have gotten more snow than us. The 2 NorEasters have stayed south of us and just hammered places like NY City, Boston etc.

P.S. That 8-10 inch map you showed us is just a dusting. When you get 18-24 inches.... it's a snow.

We are supposed to get 1/2 an inch of ice before getting up to 12 inches of snow. 40+mph winds and overnight lows around 0. We don't get this kind of weather often, Walmart is an absolute madhouse right now.

It was colder when I lived in North Dakota... Got more snow when I lived in WI and Chicago... But here in Central IL we get the ice and wind (which takes the power out) and then we get the blowing snow. It ends up sucking worse than ND, WI or N. IL..

    :(

Ice and wind isnt good. Could cause some long power outages.
if you loose power before you get mad just remember there is some poor guy out there working to get you on.

Just saw the local prediction of 4-8' snow drifts Tuesday night into Wednesday. That is approaching can't get your front door open type stuff.
