Winter finally showed up.

Well looks like we're getting another 6-10 inches here in Mid MO tomorrow after getting 10 on Thursday.

 

Yep, I was hoping this winter would be like last year, but we sure can use the moisture. I guess!

 

50 and sunny here in Kentucky. Winter is rough ...

 

Maybe this late winter will help keep those damn ticks down so they won't be as bad as last year.

 

Total white out here at the moment. Depending on which channel you watch we are lookin at somewhere between 8-16 in. between now and tomorrow night with 40 mph winds. This will add to the 14 in. from last week. Screwin up my shed huntin. lol

 

Everything is just south of us right now. Last I heard, they are calling for 8-12" from all this.

 

Whats snowfall like around the KC area?

 

I heard a foot in KC.

 

Anyone know what the water content of snow in the Missouri area is? I know in California where I'm from its like 1 foot of snow = 1 inch of rain.

 

That's about normal I believe although the last bit seemed awful wet

 

Yup, I'm heading to a property to do some shed hunting.


(Tonight it's supposed to start raining, then the freezing rain should hit right before I get up to go to work)

 

We have had one frost this year in Birmingham.

I sent all my winter coats/clothes back home to Kentucky to my parents house to free up some closet space down here. Never have a need for them.

 

Well Mizzou canceled classes tomorrow and the storm isn't even here yet.
