    Howdy folks.
So Sat is opening day for archery in New York and I'm all set to climb in my stand next to the apple trees where I've got hundreds of recent photos of turkey and deer from the past few weeks. But they're predicting strong wind and rain...:(
I have a ground blind but neglected to set it up. Would any of you go out Friday night and set it up? What's it like to bow hunt in wind and rain or is it just a bad idea alltogether.

    Thanks!

    Jim

Tough call. You wait patiently for opening day all year then the weather takes a turn for the worse. If your a weekend warrior and it's not raining go hunting. If you can hunt a lot then there are better days to come. Take the day off :D

Man, its a long season. I wouldn't hunt. Wait for better conditions. You don't want to get busted by deer the first day!:busted::busted::busted:

School teacher with a 2 and 4 year old. I'll be lucky to get two weekends to hunt archery. Reckon I'll try and tough it out. Other issue is I'll be alone until afternoon.
