I have had the opportunity in the last few months to help set up a few laptops for friends that have had Windows 8, and i think it is the biggest piece of ****ola that I have ever worked with. Now granted I have been on computers since Windows 95, I had 98 and XP and now I mostly am on 7, but I do not like 8 at all, too hard to navigate.

I am not a fan of 8. our systems at work can't even support it and most of the guys I talk to say their office applications aren't supported very well by 8 either.

Yep-- It has some serious draw backs--- MS flopped on this OS design IMO.

Agreed.. navigation nightmare to the average business/home PC user.

I keep wondering why I need a PC to be a tablet or a droid?

Only answer I have is $ and MS decided you do that's why :) Big brother knows best and wants your cash!

High end users who are on the go love it, cause they don't create documents or run application reports.. They just sit in meetings and convey what others have supplied them...
