So a bit of advice/knowledge is requested here. I've got limited opportunities to get into the woods being in auto finance for work and having two small children at home. I normally only get Thursday and Sunday morning or evening, not both. This Thursday is stacking up to be a pretty good day to go out. 10°temp drop from Wednesday to Thursday, winds under 10mph but not a prefect direction for my go to stand. I'm going to avoid that stand as a result, but another option on the same farm is an inside corner stand on the south east corner of a field, the wind is going to be coming from NNW and the trail can data I've got shows the deer moving from west to east across the corner. The hesitation I've got is if the deer come from behind me and wrap around the short tree line that juts out to the west, will I get winded or will the light winds and thermals play in my favor and push my scent up and over the trees and away from the waiting nasal passages of potential shooters. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give. Tinker Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
+1. That limited time frame to hunt, I would play the wind as best you can and hang a set. Worst case, you get out there and a bad wind movement scenario happens. At least you will know for your next sit.
