I do like it.....the legion is really nice!!!!!! it's probably a tad smoother and it's faster than the truth, I just got the first pin really sighted in at 20 yards. I am very impressed with it. For sure the quietest and no vibe bow i have ever owned!!!! I'm not sure if i'm going to be as accurate with the shorter ata..... i'm not as steady with it....but not horrible either. I had some good grouping with it and some ok groupings. Still need to play with it. I just thought i would throw it out there to see.......likely wouldn't trade, but offer a cash/paypal buy. To this day the truth is the best all around bow that i have had. It seems like the ones that owned a bear truth don't have but good things to say. The cam on the legion has a little rollover to it...a hump...still very smooth and way more adjustable than the elliptical cam. the elliptical cam is smoother overall but doesn't generate the speed, but not to far off. But all in all the legion is a homerun for me and Bear especially. For the money it has to easily be the best bow for the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds good.. I was just curious because I love my Legion. It was my favorite an my pick of all the bows I shot in my price range. Actually liked it more than a few of the more expensive bows outta my price range that I shot (for the feel) while shopping. I saw that you already had a Truth and was just curious why you were looking to trade ur Legion for another Truth.
I also like the anodized colors on the truth. I'm not a fan of the cam and limb pocket colors of the Legion.. Fit and finish are great on both. The finish on the limb pockets i think looks crappy, why not make them like the truth, smooth and better finished in my opinion. truth looks better to me overall, but i can't argue with the performance on the Legion. It's a small detail that i can overlook..lol What kind of speed are you getting. mine is basically specked as yours 28.5 dl 63lbs. If i were to guess i'm around 285fps, with 360 grain arrows (carbon express maxima's 350's) I tested a bunch of bows and for the money i would've been a moron to spend anymore. I tested about 18 different bows, and it really was easy to see that the legion was clearly the one. I knew it right away, but I still tested all the mathews, bowtechs and the other hot _hittin big name bows. I'm not go on about this or that when it came to testing, but the dealer i went to was great.
I have yet to chrono mine but yeah I would guess I'm right in the same ballpark. Its just an awesome shooting bow for me. I'm very happy with it.
oh i had the bear strike for most of last year as well.....very nice rig, super forgiving. I was just thinking, if they could make the legion with the same fps rating but with atleast 7.5 inch brace height.....that would be money!!
