I ordered the clear glass last night so hopefully it will be here Saturday.

The birch is going to be darker once I get it under the glass.

Here is what I am thinking for the limb butt overlays, of course I have to get the go ahead from Will first.

They came from a knotted up piece of Ossage I had laying around.

The glass turned up in the mail today so I will get a start on the limbs later on don't want too much dust flying around the shop with Dave's riser drying;)

The first limb is in the heat box.

Here are the lams ready for the glue up.

Next step is to put the gloves on.

    Then mix the epoxy.

Now we can start the glue up.

Put epoxy on all adjoining surfaces.

Then flip the first lam onto the glass and repeat untill you have the stack complete.

This is as far as I took the pictures and I didn't want to get epoxy all over the camera.

These pics are from a previous glue up but the process is the same.

    Once the stack is together.

Transfeer the stack to the form and hold into place with filiment tape.

Then cover with another layer of plastic kitchen wrap.

Add the air hose, the top of the form and secure the form

Inflate the air hose to 60 PSI double check nothing has moved.

I then scrap the excess epoxy down from the stack this helps a ton with cleaning up after the limb has cooked.

Pop the form into the heat box take note of the time and in 4 hours we will have a limb blank.

Here is the first one out of the box and untaped.

Sorry for the crappy pics but they was worse with the flash.

Will post better ones tomorrow out in the sun light.

    Brazilian Cherry.

    Birch.

While the other limb is in the heat box I will clean the excess off this one and rough shape it.

Well had a good day both limbs shaped, grooves cut and holes drilled.

Put them on another riser block to check the tiller and most important the draw weight.

Lucked out again with the tiller both limbs pulling even and no limb twist.

Draw weight I missed the projected 65lb by 1lb they came in at 66lb @ 28"

Tomorrow I will get the tips shaped then add the Caribou antler overlays and the limb butt overlays and hopefully a coat or 2 of finish.

Then I will put them on my riser to test shoot and when Will's riser arrives I can retro fit them to it.

Will some pics up tomorrow after I get the overlays on.
