One of the places I'am hunting, is only 2 maybe 3 acres. Its all surrounded by corn, or was some of it is out now. Anyway there is a decent 8 pointer i got on my trail camera. He has 5-6 rubs and 2 scrapes that i have found. Do you think he will stick around after they get the corn all out? I saw him for the first time this morning from my treestand.

Here is a pic of him, if you would like to see.

you, my friend, might have what we all call a "Honey Hole" for deer. those small woods surounded by fields are some of the best hunting you can find. I bet he or other bucks will venture in there during the rut to check for hotties. Best of luck to you.

I saw your pic and also the pic of the dude with marker all over him. lol did someone get a black eyes after he woke up?

I agree with selfbros, the only thing I have to add is don't overhunt the spot.

agreed 100%. I would only hunt it once a week, to keep the deer calm, however, once Rut is in you'll want to stay in there all day long. Also, know where your going to set up and stay there. don't get down and walk around, because it will ruin that small woods faster then your arrow can hit its target.

I know guys that live over in Iowa and they slay the monsters that like to hang in spots like that. Don't be surprised if you see better bucks than that soon.

Hard to say.. Just do everything you can to not spook the deer.. Dont be loud, dont walk all over the property and you have a good chance.
