Lol I never said we SHOULD tax like Europe, only said if we did we could easily climb out of the hole... I'd much rather see a cut back on all handouts, even if it meant the death of my dream career (government funded healthcare programs as a pharmacist). I could find work elsewhere easily, especially if it meant our country would cut back on taxes and the hundreds of programs they support.

You're absolutely right. You didn't say we "should" tax like Europe. Adding that in was my mistake. Sorry about that.
