Let's hope his intel is better for this turkey hunt than it was for your hog hunt.:beer:

Well, we all know it couldn't be any worse... I did find a bunch of sheds in IL and one in OK on that trip though.

You say that like something is wrong with that?

On the bet part...do we have to say who kills a "turkey" or an actual male turkey? That will decide how I vote.

It's a Turkey not a unicorn so you both should score.

That was my question as well, what part of the state you going to be in? Some parts have trees, some don't.

I'm headed to Kansas tomorrow. I not implying anything...but I have a better chance than they do of killin' long beards!

    Good luck...gobble gobble.

I have money on JZ. He has turned the corner when it comes to putting animals on the ground!

2/3 of the way through Day 1. Had 30+ birds in the field for probably 5-6 hours but none closer than 100 yards. No interest in calls or decoys. After they left we moved in where they were last night before they roosted. Sticking it out until dark, running on trail mix and Monster.

Final verdict - JZ throat punched a gobbler at 10 steps, RJ throat punched the blind at 10 inches. Oh so close to pulling off that double!

LOL. How'd you prepare the blind for supper. Lemon pepper and grill it or just chicken fried.

Alright good job man! I voted for you. What do I win? I hope it's not another back massage from Rick James!

Well congrats. At least you can claim to Todd it wasn't a total boondoggle.

Will we get to see the action on an up coming Bhod episode?

I should have told you to sit in that stand... the pig would have been dead in 20 yards. Instead you and I looked like we were dropped into the lions den while the shooter (mobow) and his counterpart (bols) commented from outside the briar patch about where they thought the blood trail was going... in the dark.
