I'm in the market for a new miter saw. I've had my eyes on the DeWalt 715 - 12" single bevel and just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I usually check Amazon 2-3 times a week and it's now on sale. Does anyone know if Home Depot or Lowes will match the price of Amazon? For fun...I expect it to go something like this between the manager and myself - "You can have this" and I pull two $100's out "OR" I pull out my card and say "Amazon can have this. Not to mention the $200-$300 I spend here a week in lumber alone." Home Depot has the same saw for $249 and Amazon now has it listed for $199. It's worth a shot in my book. http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW715-...437363498&sr=1-2&keywords=milwaukee+miter+saw
Well, I was mistaken, they're on sale on Amazon as well as at Lowes and Home Depot for the same price, $200, regularly $250. I checked with every Home Depot in the area and they're all sold out but a few of the local Lowes have some in stock. I'm going to have my girlfriends dad pick it up for me so he can use his military ID and knock off another 15%. I've been using my uncles miter for a few months now and as far as I'm concerned, it's the best, most used and most prized tool in my shop.
