Cows will stand in a foot of snow and die of thirst. What about Deer? Everything is froze solid around here.

I have read/heard that deer get most of their water from their food, but I'm not sure how much they require this time of year.

Your deer will be fine. Our water is frozen for 6 months a year and they survive.

They do like open water when they can find it though.
