Awesome video and music selection! I really enjoyed it.

Couple questions....What kind of camera were you using (looking to buy one) & what part of VA do you live?

I don't think they make my camera any more but it's pretty close to the Sony SR42E. I got it for the internal hard drive and x32 optical zoom. Getting closer to what you're shooting, and having plenty of memory space, are my two main concerns when filming wildlife.

At one point I wish I had a nightvision option, though. That elk in the video came back down the mountain a couple hours later and started bugling to his buddy across the valley while I was about a hundred yards away. I could see him moving through the fields in the twilight, but the camera just wasn't up to the task.

I live in Fairfax county and will be hunting Quantico and Ft. Belvoir this year. I'm a complete newb hunter, so it should be an interesting experience.

Thats basically what I'm looking for in a camera too. Decently sized hard-drive and also a decent optical zoom.

I'm down in SW VA. Good luck this year. I hear there are a lot of deer up in that area. Just hang around here a while and you'll learn alot.

Way cool piece of work. That was a rare catch of that lighting bolt about 2:20 into the video. Them critters just don't respect the vehical traffic out there it seems.
Fairfax County huh? The suburds there hold many hugh deer in you can get access.
