Are these a use once throw away camera? I bought this camera less than a year ago and it takes 30 percent white photos and now it won't take a picture at all. These cameras suck!

Between me and my buddy we own 5 WGI cams from Menards. Cured the white pics with just moving the camera out of the direction if the sun. 3 years and still working. My stealth cam is about a 2 week battery eating poc.

I'm not a fan of wildgame cameras but it really doesn't matter who makes the camera it matters if its a high end camera or a dirt cheap camera. I use Multries. I have 10 D-50s. They last about 6 weeks before batteries are dead. They take 6 DD batteries. Thats $12 every 6 weeks. When you are running 10 that adds up. I did how ever purchase a new stealth cam that takes 8 AAs. They seem to last 7-8 weeks and AAs are much cheaper on the pocket... The stealth cam has better quality photos and more options also...

I love my WGI camera. I've had it for 2 years and it's still working like new. I did learn that if the camera is facing directly at the sun that it will take blank purple pictures, but that's only if the sun is a perfect angle shining on the camera.

    WGI cameras

Yes, I know that about the sun. I even get white pictures at night! I have two WGI cameras and one is a little better than the other but only when in video mode.

I also have a Moultre M80 that I've never had a white picture on.

I'm glad you like them and I hope you continue to have good luck with them.

I won't buy another one, of that I'm sure. Not impressed at all. Decent pics as long as nothing is moving. Misses a lot of pics due to slow trigger speed.
