My wife has stated on several occasions that she wanted to try bow hunting. After looking at used and new, I finally decided why take something that you don't know how the previous user took care of it? Today we went to the city and purchased her bow. She is now the proud owner of a Bowtech Razors Edge. Set to 32 lbs, 24 1/2" draw. Came with the rest, quiver and sights. Got her a quick release and Bemen arrows. She shot a couple arrows at the store and had a good grouping. Now, if the wind, rain, and snow stops, we can go out and get it sighted in. Then next year she can get in the stand.
What's good about it is she's 50 years old and taking up something new. If she sticks with it, it'll give us something we can enjoy together without having to be within voice range of each other! Not that I don't like her voice, but when we tried the turkey hunting together, she would constantly ask questions or move while sitting next to me. Hard to have Tom come in when there is a hen constantly squawking!!!
Congrats to your wife. Purchased my daughter the same bow and she loves it. Can't beat it for the quality and value!
