All man caves need smoking to be permitted, especially pipe and cigar smoking. All men should be allowed to smoke fine pipe tobacco and dream of the fall, talk about sporting dogs and archery. Nothing better....

My actual little work shop for my bows is a corner of the basement right now with the gym equipment. The annimal mounts are kept upstairs and at my house in Michigan. We will be building a separate man/woman shop to keep everything in when I get back to Michigan.

The rest of the basement is Gym equipment.

I would like to sometime, I don't get to fish near as much as I would like to.

Its fun destroying the wall, but if it is the kind that has the 1" slats behind it, it takes forever to clean up afterwards. We have been remodeling an old house with slats and plaster, and it probably took 3 times as long to clean up as it did to tear out. I would put down some plastic, then tear out the walls, wrap up and throw away. Hindsight is 20/20 lol

I love my man cave. Its full of bucks about 30 and roughly 400 sheds 90 0f my favorites that hang on the exposed beams, a couple of my bulls and several turkeys. Stamped concrete for the floor, big old beastly wood stove, because you just can't beat wood heat, 58 inch flat JVC flat screen, 1080i HD, a comfy sectional couch with recliners built in and a chase lounge, also a seperate rocker/recliner, small work bench for my archery stuff.. I have some artwork scattered throughout, barn wood trim that i did myself, its a rustic room. Hand built Douglas fir stair case and railing. My wife painted it a earth tone light brown, put up dark brown curtains, on cast iron looking rods.. which really make the 9 soon to be 10 whitetail mounts pop. All mine needs is a bar someday.. My whole basement is my cave so I have a guest bedroom, all decked out with hunting pix from the past .. a guest bathroom all decked out in whitetails and bull elk art, toilet paper holder and towel holders are sheds...and finally the man fridge is tucked back in the laundry room full of drinks and snacks.

good luck on your project, keep us posted on your progress. I don't get too put any heads on the wall upstairs, but I pretty much have the entire basement too.

I wish I had a basement or somewhere I could put my mounts. My wife won't let them anywhere near our house.
