My wife is from Korea and her family's homes were hit head on by Typhoon Bolaven yesterday. No electricity and no phone service for that area. She has a plane ticket to go home on the 3rd of October. Asking for prayers for their safety (and all the other's safety in the path of that typhoon).

The whole family has been located and all are physically fine. They all lost all of their means of livlihood and don't have insurance (not offered in the islands). This will be a long hard road to recovery. Thank you for the prayers!

I hope they are able to get back on their feet. The koreans are amazing people. My brother is married to a korean girl. Her family came and stayed with my parents for a month last summer for the wedding. Then this year my parents stayed with them for 3 weeks in Korea. Great people, and they(all koreans) really understand the meaning of family.
