Thanks, guys. I'm glad no one was hurt. She is pressing her regional manager about having class enclosures put in (they're starting to do this in new pharmacies that are built evidently), so we'll see. Ben, I mentioned to her about carrying, but I don't think she's comfortable doing that. I have bedside protection, but carry protection is coming...
Holy crap dude! Glad she is okay and they caught the guy. Makes you wonder WTH people are thinking sometimes.
Damn, glad she is ok! When I was out of the gun club back in the mid-90's and owned a dive shop, I was always armed. The folks next to me were held up and a shoe store in the same center had folks tied up and robbed. Nobody ever messed with me, not sure if it was being 6'6 and 250, or just was lucky. I did draw on a street bum in Lauderdale once, family and I were at a drive up window and he would not leave despite several warnings. I warned him several times and was drawing as the manager came out with a bat. Dude left. Glad your wife is OK...that is the most important thing.
Never robbed, but I've been at knife point a couple times and I've been maced. None of the experiences were all that fun. Got clipped in the ear by a rock once too while riding a bike, that hurt like a *****. It used to be that thieves were most interested in what they were trying to attain, now a lot of them are interested in doing harm too. Your wife was lucky.
Wow glad she is ok.. I have never been but my wife has been, she was a bank teller and was held up at gun point. I know it ment alot for her to go to all the court proceedings and see it to the end.. Thank goodness it didn't go bad..
