I am 52. When I see a good looking 20 something year old, the first thought that comes to mind is I wonder what her mother looks like.
Been an interesting read for sure. A hot chick is a hot chick whether she's 20 or 40. I became single a little over 2 years ago...I'm not complaining over my social life, let's put it that way. I've met girls from 21-40+, age isn't anything but a number.
So my wife is reading this book non-stop but she is sick at the same time. So I can't get an accurate gauge of the effects yet. I was able to pick up the book for a second and read a random page or two just to see what it is all about and it basically sounds like a written porno.
Go take a cold show or hide the book until she feels better. Otherwise you just are never going to know.
Can't change what's not broke But, I suggest you read them too or at least let her read you some...(no, I didn't read any to Stick and he didn't read them..lol)
Let me just chime in and say, as a 22 year old... I'm willing to bet that his almost 50 year old wife is still naturally sexy, still willing to please her husband and hasn't been rode hard and put away wet. Why do I have this confidence?? Because she's from a generation of women who didn't screw everything that walked by and weren't quite so 'willing to please' every young gun that looked their way. When you finally decide you're done doing all the things you want to do and get married, you'll be 50 one day and will think the same about your 50 year old wife. And if you don't? Well, then shame on you. You're the type of guy I will teach my sons not to be.
I don't see myself reading those books because, according to the reviews on Amazon, they're very poorly written. I did read a summary, so I do know something about the storyline. I was fascinated though by the reports by a two or three guys here as to the effect of the books on their wives/girlfriends. At one time it was considered rather acceptable for a man to be dominant. The treatment of Katherina in Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" raised no objection at the time. I understand that, in England, there used to be an ordinance llimiting the size of the stick a man could use to beat his wife. I think there is natural tendency for some females to be submissive, not only submissive, but excited by the opportunity to be submissive. This would explain the effect of reading the book on some of your wives/girlfriends. I'm sure it's the ultimate in politically incorrect these days to admit to this, so I'm not going to do so. It would be interesting if a few females joined in the discussion, anonymously of course. May The Sheep Be With You
