Justin already said it was 28" give or take an 1/8. Somebody needs a new tape measure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I already stated that I could be wrong, it was a quick measurement. The point to that was to say that I saw his buck at the taxi, and its an awesome deer.
Knowing Todd never gets on here...Justin do you know, the other buck that was there with the Wide one...how old does Todd suspect he is? Appeared to be pretty darn solid, just curious if he's a next year buck or could he possibly get an arrow this year yet?
I didn't measure the deer myself but Graf and Pearce both said it was a hair under 28". Now whether or not they're qualified to use a tape measure is another story. Pretty sure the other deer with the wide one is a 3 year old. Todd actually passed him 2 or 3 more times this year. If he survives the gunners he'll definitely be a shootable deer next year. Not much for tine length but overall great genetics on that one.
Why are you ragging on me? I'm just saying read the post. The answer was right there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ragging? Not ragging, but like I said, I could be wrong. And I was. Does it require anything more than that?
Hey hey hey now you sound like Todd always second guessing my tape reading Todd and I measured him he taped him and I wrote it all down. I know that he was well over the 27" mark I just don't remember the exact number. with out that he wouldn't have scored much. I think he was just under 143" total either way he was a an awesome deer. A true Texas rack on an Illinois buck.
I believe he has a few cases of gum-o-flage But I'm not sure if he any any left since they are out of business now
So Todd's buck showed up from the taxi today and I snuck a tape measure on it when he wasn't looking - 24 3/8". Clearly the G Man needs to get some new glasses. Todd's one of those guys that adds 3" to all of the important measurements in his life. /case closed
Sorry Justin, I didn't see that you had already responded earlier, until I had answered his question, or I wouldn't have answered, assuming that I was wrong.
