This past weekend in sw wisconsin while doing a little late season bowhunting i found myself on stand 50 yds from a hot yearling. Through the course of the day she was bred by 3 different bucks. I have it on film and will b posting that later. Made for a pretty exciting weekend. Although it isnt the best footage still a cool encounter. Since i didnt fill my buck tag this season i tried to do a lil research as to when yearlings would possibly b coming into estrous for the first time based on when i saw the most rut activity this year. This past weekend fell right into that time frame. Even though i didnt get my buck its somewhat rewarding for me just doing the little extra homework and having at least that part of it come together. I'll try to get the video up later tonight
You talking about a fawn being bred, or a yearling (1.5)? I've seen fawns being chased hard this time of year several times over the years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
