It's not official yet, I've yet to register her but I am pretty sure I'm going to name her Autumn Skye. I love the imagery that comes to mind when I think of her in autumn. Autumn is my favorite time of year, harvest, bow season, cooler weather, crystal blue skies, the sweet scent of fall in the air...I think it just fits perfect with her and me and it's a pretty easy name to say and if I find I don't like using autumn during training for some reason I can call her Skye. She's blue so blue sky is also fits neatly. It just feels rustic but still feminine enough.
Like the name! That is also the name of a bow shop that near me. Sent from my SM-G900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I hope that's a good thing but I can see how it may be messy unless you wear adult diapers. Update on Autumn: She's been doing great, she's retrieving like a champ, she's conquered stairs, integrated with my two lab mix dogs, loves the house cat and is a sweetie pie. She had a rough couple of days from some mystery virus I guess. She was lethargic and not drinking very well. She was better this morning and by tonight (as I type this) she is almost back to her normal bundle of unbridled energy. She had me worried to death there for two days. Vet said he didn't think it was a big deal but I was the paranoid daddy so I had to have her looked at and texted with the vet off and on all day yesterday. He texted me this morning to check on her. She has had her first ride in my pickup and the Cat 45 tractor. This pic is a few days old, she's bigger now and growing like a weed. She looks like a color coordinated accessory to my silver truck with black interior.
