    So true! They want to be the best so bad, that morals and ethics go out of the window. At that level and with such a micro-media society, you can't leave anything to chance.

    No, here is the deal. You and another are equal athletes, but the other is juicing, cheating etc...He is gonna get millions and you're not. Time to get a 9-5 or get on the sauce. Simple as that. I played college baseball as steroids became the norm. I saw it first hand. I decided to avoid it, now I work a 9-5 and 2 really great friends are worth Millions an Millions. Would I have made it, who knows, I had some pretty high accolades at one point, but that means nothing until you get there. One of these guys was a stud regardless, the other got strong enough to hang on as a journeyman for 7 years. Money, fame, possibility of playing the game you love for a job, not really that hard when you think about it. It's easy to talk about morals, character etc. from the sidelines, but put enough zeros with the comma in the right place and then say that.
