Im on my way up to Green bay and ive counted well over 20 tri pod blinds ranging from 10-30 feet it seems in height. Now my question is do they hunt a different way in WI? Why the need for so many blinds. Im just wondering since ive seen so many already and maybe you guys know the reasoning behind it.

They're rifle stands. When you can shoot 300 yards you don't need to hang a stand on a travel corridor and get them close. Just setup where you can see a long ways and start blasting when they step out. That's the Wisconsin way. :tu:

Haha i wish i could. That thing was so tall it looked to be 30 feet but who knows when your going 70 mph its hard to get a good guess.

Trust me, there are 30+ foot tall, heated, roomy, comfortable elevated deer blinds up here in Wisconsin. I don't have one on my land, but it would be cool to have though.

There is a place for them...wish I had a dollar for all the deer killed out of them and back windows of houses..being high and dry isn't the worst feeling.

I guess they bring a small little house with them when they rifle hunt... only hide I ever got to use was a popup blind which fit on my pack. But I guess Florida we don't need heaters. How is the hunting in WI?
