yes bloody feathers stain when using white and I love that, it's been almost 3 yrs since I took a deer with feathers, I can't wait to get em soaked in blood.....one my favorite little things on WKP dvd I think it was Beyond the Kill, was a shot of Todd's white feather nocked with blood splatter on it....it just touches my soul!

That's possible and they did perform very well, looked nice and the price is definitely sweet. Perhaps I'll give them another try when my TF's are gone.

And what have we learned from this, boys and girls?

Simple. They both work extremely well, and THAT cannot be denied. :)

Here ya go guys/gals... Here's a snapshot of my bow gear in the case. Notice how beautiful the helical feathers are on the Beman's?

With the vanes, I shoot 267 fps.
With the feathers, I shoot 272 fps.
The K/E is about the same on both.

    My personal choice? FEATHERS! :D

I have that Vital Gear camelback pendulum sight set at 25 yards in locked mode, and even at 25 yards on the ground, I can instantly see the incredible accuracy and groupings of the feathered Beman's. They fly perfectly and have no issues with the old NAP Quiktune 1000 prong rest (hey it still works... what the heck ;) )
