I guess I am one the few old school hard headed, anti technology guys left. Couple hours a day through the winter on the computer for research for woodworking ideas or Garden Tractor stuff. Cell phone is never on unless I go out hunting or leave the property. It is a simple TracFone, no internet, texting BS or any of that. I still have a land line and if your name don't show up on the caller ID don't expect an answer. TV is on most of the day but not for me. Football game, NASCAR, RFD channel, Family Feud and a select few other shows is it for me.
You know I'll always come at you, but it's more because I really think there is hope in you... Gary, you're not that far removed from most of us "conservatives," except you somehow "want to be" because somewhere, somehow someone has made you think we are the "problem" in this country!!! When in reality, we are the "SOLUTION" in this country!!! (Let's be serious for a minute, you're a Christian, I'm a Christian, and we'd LOVE to see a "Christian Nation," one where that "Commandment of LOVE" is more prominent!!!) But in reality, if we take a look at EACH and every one of these "mass shootings," one thing comes to mind, lonely, lost, non-Christian people. Some because they are from a religion that believes murdering infidels is acceptable and even rewardable, some because they have not values/faith/worth in the world anyhow, therefore they have nothing to lose.... Agree??? So as a Christian, I'm accepting of the "Commandment of Love," but I'm also recognizant that "HARD LOVE" is a real thing, and sometimes people need tender "loving" care, and sometimes they need "Hard Love." I also know that the Bible says "A man who will not work, shall not eat...." Jesus was only so "soft" on his love, he also expected that those we "loved" were going to be accountable and "earn that love" we gave them... As far as Las Vegas situation goes, that evil man who did the shooting, wasn't what YOU and I are, otherwise we'd never be talking about it in the first place.... So where in our society can we start amending this problem to defer further problems in the future.... We need to "LOVE" each other, guide each other, show each other nurturing as well as "HARD LOVE," to redirect a society towards where it should be... Not for the Republican party, not for the Democratic party, not for the Libertarian party, but for our CHILDREN!!! Because we want them to be able to re-define what AMERICA is and should be and will be... My children know "right from wrong," my children know murder is a sin, my children know GOD loves them and us, my children are conservative by today's standard, because they are responsible Christian people, it's not political, it's worldly, Godly, Christian-like... Don't be fooled into believing liberlism is Christian, because it in fact and in practice is indeed NOT in our modern society!!!
